Report the problem to UPS

In preparation for the full-scale launch of this website, we are conducting daily checks to see if UPS delivery is functioning properly. It would be very troublesome if we received an order from a customer and were unable to deliver it properly, so it is important to make sufficient preparations in advance.

In the midst of all this, a major obstacle was discovered.

Surprisingly, Hokkaido is missing. Unlike other regions, the price is not discounted but remains the regular price. It is more than four times the price of other regions.

I immediately reported the problem to the UPS staff at our store. After you specify the country of Japan, the shipping fee is calculated by the postal code, but I think the postal code for Hokkaido was probably not included in the "Japan" settings.

I guess UPS hasn't been handling many shipments from Austria to Japan using business accounts. That's why such a simple mistake was left unattended. If you just take what the other party tells you at face value, it will develop into a big problem. I realized the importance of checking things properly with my own hands.

The fee program amendments should be completed shortly.
